Jeff, I have read Abraham's work and I like the positive twist and have
incorporated many of the teachings into my own life.  What I'm talking about is stuff like, "Find a happy thought and think it," but like Inkling, I agree that channeling is opening oneself to communicate with demonic beings.  Demons appear as angels of light, according to the Bible and even share truth.  Even though I've gleaned some truth from Hicks, I am fully aware that there are many errors being taught by that movement.

As for Abraham, sounds demonic to me.  Channeling opens people to a spiritual realm where they can become possessed by forces of evil.  I don't believe in good spirits talking through people except for the Holy Spirit, which always confirms itself by being aligned with the Word of God.  Typical born again response, I know, but it had to be said.
