This is tragic. Insurance companies collect much money in what seems to be hedge fund type funding. When a true need arises there are explanations and justifications of why the money is not immediately available. The numerous organizations out there to help only want to give water, used materials and not give people replacement value. The distributors are greedy people inserting themselves in the middle to skim off for their family and friends. It is disgusting.
I have an elderly cousin who goes to help feed the elderly. She brings home items to distribute them among her immediate family and friends. I angered her by letting her know that I did not want them for she was serving as a ROBIN HOOD by taking from the elderly and giving to lazily trifling young individuals in our family.

I guess they were part time and didnt have the same benefits and the Red Cross had over a million and seems like they arent parting with the money

Those men's families should be compensated and well-taken care of with no ifs, ands, or buts attached! I understand your paranoia. Whenever I see a plume of smoke off in the distance, I pray that's it's a fire in an open field someplace, and not yet another family losing a home . . . or a loved one!

I would feel shy and awkward too and not say anything as well...I thought that was why those benefits wee held too.
