I agree with Lost. The death penalty has not proven too much of a deterrent for these people, and "an eye for an eye" does sometimes seem pointless and barbaric. However, it's also not fair that people's tax money will be paying for this man's room, board and meals for the rest of his life either! The French used to exile certain criminals to Devil's Island! Let's bring that chapter back . . .

I don't agree to use my tax money to care for him...
Now he doesn't have to wash his clothes or cook his meals and gets to lay around watching the tv for the rest of his life in a perfectly climate controlled environment AND get health care provided to him..
I absolutely do not agree. But - death is too easy too..

Part of his hell should have been to silence him and not let a word of his explanation, excuses, and justification be heard! These heinous people deserve no voice. This is where I have a problem with rights that people do not use responsibly. Good and well written thoughtful post.

I believe there is no hell on this earth sufficient enough for this evil man. Perhaps it will get his in the next life...It is the best I can hope for, as only God knows his soul.
