Burnout I think and over time our motivation shifts.  Plus I find the busier I am, the more I can get done.  For me it is better not to say to myself or others what I am going to do. As soon as I do that, that is exactly what I don't do.  I have to be the get it done in the moment and I will keep it going.

Re: shamasehar

Are you still writing on your Blogspot blog.  I always enjoyed reading it, but now days seldom go to any place except Blogit, FB, and email.  Wish all of your writing was on Blogit.

I too have problems keeping up, writing a poem or two each day, commenting and so on.I have dropped some of my blogs, well news and politics, and I think it is alright. Here in Blogitville we can do as we please, you have friends here who will love you no matter what you chose to do.

It can be tough to keep up on the writing. When it came to my expectations, I did not have any expectations when it came to reading. That developed on its own. When it came to writing, I expected to write every day though there have been times where I have not. I never did expect to have three blogs but felt it worked out better and helped my writing to focus on one of them a day.

I  thoroughly enjoy reading your posts.Over the years you slow down and can't keep the same pace yet you have been so regular with most of your blogs.Keep writing.📝

TAPs

I can barely keep up with one blog - having 6 and keeping them all current is mind-boggling. I just know that yours is a blog I look forward to reading, and one that I know will deliver quality every time (which is immeasurably more valuable than quantity, in my opinion).

TAPS

Do you think there may be something in the water here at Blogit? I remember when you, I and many wrote all these blogs, carried on conversations on our blogs. You have always been a higher performer than any of us. I have a flurry of writiing then nothing for a long time but I love to see your new posts just as much as the beginning. It is TAPS word I have come to read no matter what.

I like  to think you have refined your intentions.

I understand completely. Personally, I don't know how anyone can maintain more than one blog consistantly in the first place! I just think it would be easier to put all of your energy into just one. I know there are different categories, and people have different things to write about, but like you said, there's just so much time in the day . . .

I know its not easy... I stopped thanking and responding a long time ago... I am ever so grateful they do read me and I assume they know I am... How could I not be?  I am grateful and humbled by the comments I get but something had to give and II much rather read and comment on what my readers post than just say thenk you over and over... 6 daily blogs?  WOW  That must have take all day!  I could not possible keep that up for even one day :-)  Enjoyable as it is to interact with the other bloggers it is physically impossible for me ... You my dear Taps are an amazing woman :-)  xoxoxo

Re: LostInLife

Maybe!
But, mostly at that time I just have coffee, watch the birds, and meditate.  I love the early morning for doing nothing.

I am ashamed that I stopped thanking people and answering their comments a long time ago and I write my one post everyday. It is about the only dicipline that I have in my life. Writing my post and reading almost everyone that posts that day.I will read anything that you post...I have loved your posts since i first got here.

Whether you write ten times a day or once, you always come up

with something thought provoking or an appreciation of life, or both.  It's all good.

Maybe we should change it up a bit...

Get up earlier in the morning and write first thing instead of at the end - then maybe we aren't so tired?

That's okay, TAPS. I start saying the same thing...very early in the morning.
