CCT

I wish I had some of Archie's wit when dealing with phone sales people. I usually think of snappy responses 5 minutes after hanging up, which is most unhelpful!

Re: Judy

No use being ultra senstitive or one rebuke would would be the finish. I would rather try and sell flowers.

Re: Ciel

Ciel some one will always bury you, don't fret. Well I do feel the magic of such lovely ladies occasionally, but of course one has to be past it to say such a thing.

Re: They come in crowds here, robo calls mostly, running with a recorded

Thank you Pat,  my I don't often dabble in verse these days. It has to be quick as comments take a time as you know. My answer phone dissuades most cold callers but they keep trying new tricks putting phone numbers where it once read phone number unknown.

Re: Adnohr

Yes I guess that would put a damper on one's actions soul savers are a bit scary. The verse  is not really poetry, just trying to find out if it is still there Bright-eyes.

Re:

Well power is expensive here Doc and although we do not get an excessive amount of sun, folk who have gone down this road tell me that they do get quite a small flow of power even on a dull day. Probably not so advantageous  for you as your energy is much cheaper/

Re: Blue feathers

I think one has to be pretty thick skinned to try to sell cold these days. Although there must be quite a few making out doing this kind of activity. One born every day I suppose.

Re:

Well Kabu Archie has a massive plant in his greenhouse but no flowers. I saved the corms from last year  and planted them early in pots one must not get them too wet before they shoot or part of the corm will probably rot. Now you go and tell your Mummy.

I wonder whether solar panels actually are effective enough to really save and be a real benefit?

One of Dad's businesses gets a lot of telemarketers. You do a great job at conveying emotion in your poetry.

Good comeback, Archie!!! There's a friend who has asked more than one telephone sales person if they had nothing better to do with their lives...then offered to save their souls. They hang up quickly, and he gets a laugh. Definitely do not give up the verse - it is something quite original and special!

They come in crowds here, robo calls mostly, running with a recorded

sales pitch: there's been an increase in crime in your neighborhood, your emergency device has already been paid for, when can we pick up your unused household items, it's for cancer, it's for veterans, it's for disaster relief... The "I'll ask the landlord" thing is priceless. He gets a gold star for that one.

Don't ever stop with the versification. Such philosophy built into those lines.

That dahlia has some fine color!

Archie stays on the phone with those guys longer than I would!  Well, there was the incident with the Funeral Plan salesman...

And--you are magic!
