I think that is a great idea!  Maybe I need a tree too!  :)

I understand completely. I get together with one of my childhood friends at least once a week and let him vent and blow off steam over anything and everything that is bothering him, and do my best to not let his negative energy affect me in any way! Hey, a tree, a rock, a passing bird, a garbage can . . . all would be ideal to leave your troubles with . . .

trees do indeed bring peace, your friend needs a plant or a tree. Venting is good but eventually you may have to back away for your sanity sake. You are very patient and loving .

That is so true.  I had to stop talking to some friends because I would get agitated.  I did not warn to pass the agitation on to others. If it is vented in some way, it will get inside you. I know you heard of the analogy of man getting abuse from boss, goes home and abuses wife, wife abuses children, children abuse the dog, etc. You are right to put it in perspective for yourself and those around you.
