I remember reading Benzinha, and she did seem to be a lovely lady. I love the figurine. I must google the 'how' on making fresh bread dough sculptures.

Little things come to mind, something just triggers them off. I suppose  dough was used instead of plasticine in the old days and then eaten of course after being baked,.

I hope you share this blog with Peter's wife... It's perfect.

I did not know Benzhina made these little sculptures. This one is really beautiful. I do miss her blogs, and think of her any time I hear the word "abuelita." Wish I could have met her.
