Re: Adnohr

They are not Canadian geese anymore. They are Canada geese who are USA "citizens" because they have been hatched and bred here.  Probably they have learned their obnoxious ways here.  I have a feeling that when they are born and bred in Canada, they probably never poop at all.  LOL

I hear an owl out here in the dark, but haven't yet managed to see it. Which is probably just as well for my grandson's little kitten who spends some of the night outside...unsupervised. I must apologize for our Canadian Geese...

Oh I love to bird watch Taps. We have many birds in our yard most of the year. Last night I even saw a hummingbird, even though I dont have a feeder up. I hope you get to see your bird~

I like owls too... Here in Miami Beach we have a tinny one... gray and white with little horns but  no more than six or seven inches tall... They are rare and hard to spot but very cute.  The first time I saw one she was hurt and laying by the pool deck.  I thought it was a baby owl so I took her in and cuddle her in a shoe box until the Bird Lady (an angel that takes care of injured birds in my area)  came for her.  When she saw her she was amazed and told me it was no baby and no "she" but a fully grown male  loll  I still cannot believe it was not a baby!  Hope you see your Curlew :-)  xoxoxo

I like owls - Athena's bird! We don't see too many in this area, but we have Cooper hawks that raid our bird feeders, helping themselves to some of our smaller guests! But there's not much we can do...

I enjoy watching birds in action too. My favorite birds to watch are ducks. The way they can go from land to water and back fascinates me.

Well, people cannot be as wise as such.. We need to have unwise people so there's balance in life...

Haven't heard that little verse for quite some time. Thank you!

The radiation oncologist who handled my therapy in '08 was an immigrant from Egypt, and he was fascinated by owls, even collected sculptures of them. When I 'graduated' from his care he gave me a bookmark with an owl heiroglyphic on it. :)
