Tassimo here too. I live on the stuff - the stronger the better, and have also been warned to tone it down.

Coffee!
I like my coffee strong - nearly strong enough to stand a spoon in, my dad says. We have one of those Tassimo things; hubby did the math, and swears it's the same cost per cup as buying the grounds. Being too lazy to do the math myself, I've taken his word for it

I loved this. Brought back lots of memories.
I perked a pot of hot water once for my Dad when mom wasn't home. He was so disgusted with me because I forgot to put the coffee in.

Oh! Pat I don't like strong coffee, or tea, but usually I have decaffeinated coffee and it is a bit weedy unless one buys the premium brand. I can't remember drinking coffee as a child or teenager, but I know there was a horrible brew called coffee made out of roasted parsnips. I don't know why tea was shipped in the war and not coffee perhaps it did not take up so much room, no idea, unless tea was the national drink.

LOL! Here we have the conclusive evidence for the genetic basis of coffee-making and pot-robbing...
