I love this.
All four of my son's went away--one for good when he died with cancer at age 22,
one to the Navy and on, two to marriage and jobs in far off states.  Two finally came back to this area and I enjoy them so much being close.  One has been gone for 30 years except for short visit now and then.  But our hearts are still close, and we see the same stars in the sky.

Nothing remains the same Jay. you must stand back and think how you felt about your own father and mother when you were a young man. The break has to happen as sad as it appears to the parents. They stand still and the young move on not so much now here as the fledglings cannot afford a new nest.
