Such a happy scene you painted with words, especially with getting to play the organ. I did not see the twist at the end coming. You have me wondering what really went on at the house.

Perfectly captured the yearning to turn something bad into something good. As a helpless child, I wonder how many times we would feel that emotion, because it's the only escape we had? Great poem, Jay!
