I think it is inspired by their prophet, too! The people may be right about the Amateur supporting the 'Brotherhood' but it is still U. S. $ that the army gets to help them do what they do in my humble opinion! So, they want us to stay away but still send the money! That's where I get a bit bent out of shape because it seems to me we could do a lot of good in my country with the money we send time after time to other countries! But, it's just about venting because I know we protect our interests just as everyone else does. I agree on your statement that it makes them simply normal people too! sam

There are many reasons why I do not pay too close attention too some events. i guess I am a fixer and since I cannot fix things like this, I enjoy reading to keep abreast. You do a fantastic job expressing and detailing multiple views and perspectives that do not consider.

I am sad to see Bombings may happen in Canada...I wouldn't be surprised to see some people getting sent back from where they came from.
In Australia....well it is all a great big mess at present.

If this were all a game of chess, I would say that Obama just moved his king out into a vulnerable position, is about to be "checked," and will then have to play the rest of the game being hounded by one check move after another as he attempts to retreat behind safer walls. Am I close?

This is the best post I have seen lately. Valid points easy to understand and I wonder why so many Americans do not understand what is happening. They don't get the plainest situation when it is all over us. Of course our liberal media never does more than mention issues in a quasi favorable manner. Each of the liberal media in the US has a wife or husband working in the White House.

Mr. Obama certainly is up to his neck in 'gaffes' lately.I wonder who is advising him? Fail!!! Justice must be harsh with our 2 would-be bombers in BC. We want none of that stuff in this country!!!

And oh, how we are suffering!
The media has been driving me crazy with this one. The fellow on the radio said the couple had converted to the Muslim faith, then said "the pair was not known to have close ties to any terrorist group". And not even 5 minutes later, he was back and talking about how they were part of Al-Qaeda, or inspired by them, or were on the "list" to join up (like there's some sort of waiting list for future members...).
The truth is very simple - they were two people who "discovered" the Muslim faith and followed it passionately. Incidentally, I wonder if we will start to see new warning labels on slow cookers:
"Caution: This device may blow up if filled with explosive material. Not intended to be used as a weapon of mass destruction."
