I did not realize how big the opposition was either...It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

I had not heard about that latest development in Egypt (I am taking care of my grandchildren in Englewood NJ while their parents take a much needed holiday and there are 4 of them... I am lucky if I get time to breathe loll) but I, like you am happy to hear about it. Like you said its a move towards real democracy and a blow so to speak for the fundamentalists... we have to take what we can get. Thank you once more for keeping me posted to what is happening out there :-) xoxoxo )

I hope this is good news - that Morsi (or whatever) has been removed is certainly a step in the right direction. For now, I suppose, we will wait and see how things progress.

I am just watching and waiting. I don't know if a country so divided between Fundamentalist religion and secularism and freedom for all their people can possibly work. Time will tell but will they end with an Army Dictator!!!

It's a big step in the right direction, and hopefully without bloodshed. I also see that there are more and more protests in France against Islamics imposing religion and culture in that country. Did you read how even in our own BC the bomb threat made by 2 Al-Quaeda followers was thwarted? Eyes are opening???

Naut, I didn't realize that you had posted about Egypt, so I deleted my post as I did not want to jump on top of your post.
