It seems unlikely to me, I think a bigger concern is the spiritual ennui caused by cutting down forest for shopping malls

You have no more worries now than you did before...Other than the loss of open spaces. It takes more than that to get a twister started. Out west here it is a desert, all we have is open spaces, and for the most part no twisters. Sleep well Bill and have a happy Fourth.

I am not sure of the difference between a twister and a tornado. I always thought they were the same...I don't know how much tearing down woods would help with the winds. I would think they would block them.
