Re:
Well jimmy I had to take on one of your tips one of the pear trees seemed to be rocking, it is always loaded and I wonder if we had a gale if it might fall on a green house , so I thought I had better hook a rope onto it and secure it to a strong iron stake. I should keep the water, have a drink on me.

Re: Dr JPT.
Well actually this is a green tunnel that I am trying out this year it is just netting to keep the nasties out. I do wonder about snow although we have reinforced it somewhat.

Looks like a rather simple case of "so far, so good." And hey, if you're in need of rain, there's plenty of it falling here on the northeast coast of the US. I'll see if I can capture a few gallons in some barrels and ship 'em to ya . . .

Well Naut this is bean land they grow here if there's a chance. A lot of my poems are rehashed, you just can't bang them out like crazy unless you are on a roll.

Re:
Goodness who thought of that crazy idea Jay , some houses here in the thirties were actually built with tanks to collect rain water for washing and flushing etc.

sometimes love that never progressed can be sweet to think back on...and all the best for the blood test.
Beans look healthy...like some of our rain, everything here is humid then it rains.

I am duly impressed with your climbing beans - you should have a good crop! And I liked your wistful poem as well...

A certain blogger is rather disgusted with the lack of growth
of beans here. Yours are running the race... mine are walking.

CCT...
Yes, good luck with the needle...hopefully they'll find a vein without too much poking around...the vampires, er, technicians in the lab I go to for bloodwork never seem to have to poke around much with me and have commented I have "good veins"...That almost scares me, come to think of it.

Both your gardening post and the poem seem wistful today.
Crossing fingers for good results tomorrow in needletown. :)
