I think Thomas' thinking is clouded by his own history. Affirmative action has been one of the biggest forms of discrimination, denying certain individuals the right to an education just to achieve this ridiculous diversity everyone seems to think is so important. I'll bet that, thirty years or so ago someone like Thomas would have never opened his mouth about such things, and would have gladly taken anything that was handed to him because of his race. Can you say hypocrite, boys and girls?
