Pat...

I've read most of the "Reacher" novels but haven't seen this movie yet...I'll rent it on Cable some evening, maybe....another movie I'm hesitant to rent is "Alex Cross"...I like both Lee Child and James Patterson as authors, but hate to see them selling out to Hollywood to make some more easy bucks....

I saw the movie while I was in Egypt....it was okay...nothing to write home about...my hubby didn't care for it...
I think most writers would love to have that problem....I know Stephen King was so upset with Lawnmower Man that he didn't want his name associated with the film...as he says ... he wrote the story the way he wanted and they bought the right to do what they wanted....time to let go...You should shop some of your work with an agent or enter some of the contests on Writer's Digest...

Pat

Knowing neither the book(s) nor the movie, I probably shouldn't comment at all! But I wonder how a guy who's 5'7" and 150 lbs wet can play a character who's 6'5" and 250 lbs!
But maybe he was wearing heels and some padding, LOL...

As to the charge of 'selling out', some people have altogether too much time to worry about nonsense...
