We've been getting rain here...
on an almost every-other-day basis...you can almost see/hear the grass grow...more rain is due, and weekend highs are expected in the high eighties (and humidities will be high, too).

We had a rainstorm day before yesterday, all the drama of a
stage play, lightning, thunder, wind - and it rained a couple inches in a couple hours, which left the Walmart parking lot a foot deep and impassible - guys in raincoats and boots were out looking for the drains so they could unclog them. Water curb deep over the brick street, cascading down the cement creek bed that had been the slanted driveway into St. B's.

The weather has been strange here as well - even we had hail a couple of nights ago - a very rare ocurrence at this time of year, and after a very nice warm day! And there's been more rain than usual! But the garden is lush, as are the woods were Bennie and I take our early-evening walks...

It rains here almost everyday. Another storm so it's been hard to do any yard work...just glad I got some of the grass cut already...I need money coming in so I don't have to cut it myself any more. sigh
