(If I am reading this right) you might have been killed too if the shooter was armed and dangerous. I would not resent someone saving themselves if I was going and they were unable to help; I would want them to get help and stay alive to identify my killer. It wasn't your fault times turned so bad and you were swept away with them.

yes I agree very powerful poetry that contains horrors from
another time and place. The life of the addict seems to be surreal and only later some things best forgot come screaming to the fore. Much to ponder on here.
