As a kid, I was not too keen on the dark either...A haunting poem you got there.

i myself wasn't afraid of the dark. My big Sister slept in the same room
with me...I was safe with her I knew...my kids were and grandkids are or were though.

I have a feeling that you're not going to get too many people who will try to claim that they've never been afraid of the dark at one time or another in their lives. Fear of the unknown, especially in the dark, is a pretty universal feeling. I think Boris would agree with me . . .

I know that feeling. This is another excellent poem putting all those feelings and fears out to the reader so we are right there with you.
