what about one of those corset things for his back to hold it together so it doesn't get hurt. What a bout cold packs on the middle of his back to reduce imflamation. What about physiotherapy on his back. Some exercises daily to strengthen his back.

according to him hes been everywhere and they dont help and some group told him his unemployment had to run out before he could get help

has he tried going through the unemployment website for jobs? also they have career centers (at least in missiouri) that can help him find work....sometimes the mom and pop stores or businesses are easier to get hired on ....good luck!

I do hope something comes along soon. People employing are always
scared to employ someone with a bad back. Their insurance goes through the roof it the Company has to pay our workers comp.

Because of the economy in general, many employers are being a lot more discerning when it comes to hiring anybody! In the end, poor, unreliable workers end up costing them more money, which, because of unemployment, ends up costing us all. Don't worry . . . I'm sure the right set of circumstances will unfold and some employer will "give him a shot!"

I find too that the unreliable workers make it harder as well...I wish that those employers he has tried would be more courteous and get back to him.
