I feel for you, I miss little things I have grown fond of like shirts that had a design I liked, that no longer fit, it is hard to let them go even with limited space.

I completely agree with you about those old jumpers, and also t-shirts...And I got a charge out of the poems - the last line in the second one hilariously illuminated what went one before...

I am terribly good at getting rid of unwanted things. It's probably why I live alone

Re: Ciel
Yes Ciel I find it hard to throw some things away. My Mum had a hat and she would wear it although I often said throw that silly thing away. I still have it somewhere guilty feelings if I ever see it.

Re kabu
What would I give to sort your shoes?
Three guinea pigs and a crate of booze.
First of all I am sure to need
Four plastic bags or more indeed.
Don't cry before I have begun.
If there is a pair
I'll leave you one.

I never thought about how plant diseases could effect gardening. It makes sense now that I think about it...The poem put a big smile on my face.

I have trouble emptying out Wiley's old stuff too, but occassionally I
have a win. I refuse to discuss shoes.

Yeah, I too like to wait until the article of clothing has become nothing more than a series of holes sewn together! The older clothes seem to be more comfortable anyway! And hey, potato marbles are probably still edible! They'll just take less time to prepare . . . and to eat!

I can't speak for other women but I know I have trouble letting go of some clothes....maybe it's the memory attach to it...or I just haven't quite shrunk enough to fit into it yet....

It was a wonderful realization
that I could donate stuff I don't wear or use, but is too good to throw away. Bags of stuff escaped my house when that awareness came, and clutter began to disperse.
