Now you have piqued my interest! Heretofore, other then the name, I have never encountered it and knew absolutely nothing about it...

i think that I have had enough violence from the tv and am getting too old to appreciate the subtleties. i haven't got into the series. Yet i can write evil into my stories if it is needed. And i agree right doesn't always win nor is anyone all good or all bad.

Well Ciel I have yet to see a film that I enjoyed after reading the book. Well I cannot think of one. Visa versa if I have seen the film no way would I read the book. Sorry if that sounds horrible, but I can't help not being able to adjust to the difference. I would love remote controlled E Z boy or whatever the darned things are called.

Somehow I never got into that series. I think I've mostly been watching
silly stuff like "Big Bang Theory" or "Two Broke Girls" and reruns of "The Daily Show." Seeking the funny side lately. But this bit about turning expectations upside down has me intrigued...

Re: Annicita,
The series of novels starts with THE GAME OF THRONES, but the whole series is called SONG OF FIRE AND ICE, I believe. They are all very thick paperbacks, and can be hard to put down! I don't recommend getting the hard-cover, if you read in bed. A person, dozing off, could give themselves a concussion.

Re: BC-A,
That's what fiction writers do: create worlds and realities and invite us into them. We buy the books and watch the movies because we want that.
