You are so lucky. In the US these expenses I write about and call out of pocket are after we pay for our health insurance. There are co-pays and outside of coverage costs. Read today's blog with that in mind. My father was insured by private as well as medicare, the figure I mention was above that.

I am shocked and spoilt i believe for we may wait awhile here but all this is covered by the Gov. and in australia, a combination of public and private health care will give pretty good cover. You must have to consider how to manage from the fist day you start to work.
