Re: CCT...
Hi buddy hope you feel OK. I like the opening buds, especially of roses but then everything is at its best when young even little pigs.

CCT...
That is a very beautiful, eye-catching closeup..just think what it will be like when the new buds bloom, too....it will be an amazing display of nature at its finest.

Re: Your peony is absolutely perfect! Gorgeous color & form...
Yes Pat I think the more fleshy ones are better for a display the heads of these tend to droop but would look great in a font in a Church. Funny how names come about , I bet Grandma was pleased with her flowers. I must try and become more cheerful.

Re: your Muse is around I see...
So you have noticed Kabu, It is making me think. I know it is quite pleasant for me now I have all or most under net tunnels no cats,or birds or butterflies to contend with, I wonder about mice but Janey said she will get me some old fashioned traps as I don't like poisoning the little menaces..

I'm quite familiar with chewed and bedraggled thoughts. For me, they do not lend well to poetry though.

Nice photo CCT, in the morning I must tie up my peas, the wind came and laid them all down on the ground and they are about to pod.

I am always very reluctant to buy things on the internet, except for books, which tend to be cheaper than at the store...And as so often, your poem made me think, not always easy for me, especially after a few FNMs...

It can be tricky to buy things without seeing them...I say to keep writing about the dreams. I find that helps the healing process in getting rid of that ache.

Love your flower and I too am withdrawing from buying on the Internet as they are not sending quality like I was getting a couple of years ago.
So wet here, scared to go outside I might make a sink hole!!

I love the color of the flower. I think you are right those expecting to have repeat business must get tighter on customer service. Of course the poem was as usual very well done.

I remember when Grandma Lucy used to call her shrub peonies "Pineys." Once again your poetry seems wistful and the emotions fragile. Nice work!
