That, unfortunately, will never happen, because the gun lobbyists pay way too much into the political coffers! As far as the "internet tapping," I really wish there was a better way. People are always open to losing some of their privacy in exchange for a little security. However, it doesn't seem to be working very well, does it?

Know thy enemy is taking an odd turn. No longer do we study the true enemy, no it is looking at your neighbor then turn on them. I am concerned that envasions of privacy have started from the inside out and the outside in with the failure to look at root causes.

I don't think even George Orwell could have imagined this...

when he wrote how "Big Brother" was watching us...now, its not only watching but listening in as well...no wonder the deficit is in the trillions....

well if they are watching and reading our posts in Blogit I hope that they

are paying like we have to do!!! Yes I know that is frivolous of me and I don't like the thought of Government breathing down my neck either ...but I am a good girl and I think certain words are more likely to catch their attention than if I write about Gnomes.

I honestly can't imagine a time when we'll be without war (in one form or another). As for the government keeping tabs, I'd like to think they have better things to do than listen to my phone conversations. But if that's how they're really spending time and taxpayer dollars, it's no wonder the American economy is in ruins!
