Well I bought some bags of corn , put it in the microwave and there were these horrible little hard corns left amongst the fluffiest ones so I thought of them as fluffies and grits. Evidently yours are all fluffies, so it would be unwise to change your admirable name for them as i don't think my description is valid.

I have to agree with TAPs

I'm generally too busy eating the stuff to bother worrying about naming it! And now I'm going to spend the rest of the day wondering why in the world you suddenly had to have a name for a single piece (fluff, puff, whatever) of popcorn...

My kids did it before you, Naut -they called it a puff of popcorn.

I don't call it, I just eat it.
I'll bet you can't eat just one.

Naut

You will determine how worrisome this is and what you should do. I love popcorn and don't know that I would consider enjoying the lovely fluff an addiction. Have fun with this.

Now, don't you feel better, to have all that off your chest?

The first step toward finding a cure is owning the problem. Although for the life of me, I can't understand why you'd want to. PA must be much healthier than the nagging, everlasting curse of OCSSW (obsessive compulsive search for the specific word).
