I would find it distracting if it was a public beach and/or if they were getting in the way...I can understand why she and other celebrities would have all of that security, especially after John Lennon. Say something or do something, and there is one nut out there that wants to inflict harm.

If it's a public beach, they have no business 'patrolling' it, even if that 'teen singer' lives in the neighbourhood...can she even sing?

I can see it being annoying but I understand that there is genuine concern for her wellbeing as she was involved with a member of One Direction and some of the fans can get a little obsessive (even if they are mostly 11 year old girls). I suppose when you take part in scripted dramas the dangers can get intensified.
