Having been to the middle east for 3 months and ready to return again soon I understand what you are saying...I experienced no prejudice while I was there except from my own embassy!!!!
Any time we broach a subject from the point of fear our prejudices known or unknown at the start bare their ugly heads and then we speak from a point of prejudice and fear. Perhaps if we put ourselves in their shoes (walk a mile in my shoes) we would have a better understanding of what is going on...
