I can imagine Pat, bit Itchy might not have succumbed easily those little teeth that crack nuts could be a bit off putting  in a scrap. Reminds me my grass is shooting up again, no peace for the gardener.

what a wonderful post. I read it three times to get the last squeeze of

enjoyment from it. Doggies have to do what they have to do and Itchy and the birds are given flight mechanisms to assist with their life span being extended.

Since we rescued Graysome I think I would always adopt an animal this way. Every time I watch the little ....well rather large actually....opportunist spoiling himself and taking unashamed advantage of our spoiling, then I smile with satisfaction.

Pat

Kay Lee and Bennie may not resemble one another in appearance, but I think they're kindred spirits...

What a fun post.  I loved reading it while in the background listening to the theme from Jurassic Park because I just got through reading Ciel's movie-music post.  LOL

Aw - I love this post! Doggies can brighten our lives, most pets can and do. Well written - made me smile all the way through!

There's nothing so happy-making as a dog bouncing and grinning!
