Re: adnohr
I don't think I have ever tasted yams, Bill. Are they good?

I find you more amazing each time I visit, they way you think, and the way you know what is the right thing to do. Many people have a bad attitude about pits, but I have had many wonderful experiences with pits who wanted nothing more from my visit than a pat on the head...Did I mention that we raise rhubarb?

Those two guys carry a grudge, do they? I have actually observed the same thing with Bennie at times, although not quite to the same degree...

Whether this tactic has worked before or not, you may need to be careful that it doesn't "backfire," and make them even more prone to those acts of vengeance! Hey, you can deny them those treats for only so long . . .

adnohr...
I can imagine the two dogs communicating with each other after all this happened: "See, isn't revenge sweet? We really showed her."
"Yeah, but I got a hole in my belly from lack of treats."
There's no doubt about it, animals certainly have minds of their own.

It sounds like you came up with a good solution to show them that their behavior would not be tolerated...Great to see you back writing on here.

Rhonda you are a master with children and animals I believe. It is so fun to come to an understanding when an animal wants to tell you something new. They can really communicate if you watch and listen. Thanks for the smiles.

I do believe doggies may be more easily trained than children....
Maybe. They do sound adorable, and I'd rather see 'em spoiled a bit as you do with all the attention and treats than some I've seen who are not so lucky...

Doggies have let you know...LOL...that was quite a lot of revenge for one night. But they will know they went too far by now and I am sure that life will be happy and cuddly again by tomorrow.
I always enjoy your posts and the ones about the doggies are special for me.
