I would also consider getting a tax attorney who can help as well...They can probably get your tax debt reduced to nothing....

So difficult it is to take on the IRS...My parents were audited about five years ago. Talk about a nerve racking experience.

Get yourself a good Tax accountant, not a tax service. Be sure he/she is a CPA with lots of success with the IRS. The amount you pay will be worth it because you are paying the IRS that much.

I can only imagine that it is similar to someone being caught driving drunk. If it happens once, they'll keep a constant eye on you! That's a shame too because, like you said, it's not like you're some big corporation making millions of dollars! Why do they have to pick on the "little people?" I hope they ease up on you a bit . . .
