Absolute Power
corrupts absolutely. I would worry about any person (or small group) being given that level of control. Sounds like they're already making a mess of their current power positions.

It's not quite as simple and one-sided as Cohen and Solomon present it. To mention just one of the examples they give, that of Zimbabwe: That the country is no longer the bread basket of Africa is the result of over thirty years of Mugabe's rule...
