as you know dear friend I don't buy into your Politics....but I love
the communication with you and sometimes whether we are agreed with or not, it is good to write out feelings and disappointments.

First of all, I've always felt that the concept of "of the people, by the people, for the people" has long since been dead. Over the years, I have seen several interviews with various politicians from different parties with a myriad of ideas and concepts who, once in office, claim that their next obstacle to tackle is to simply get re-elected! While they're in office, it's only their immediate family and their constituants that matter, and no one else! And as far as Michelle Bachman is concerned, regardless of her morals or values, I believe she is one of the biggest morons that has ever come down the pike, and I for one will be glad to see her fade into obscurity. Sorry - just my opinion . . .

I find student governments to be an excellent microcosm of our current political situation...I was surprised by Bachman's move. I did not expect it.
