And there were the buzz bombs one could hear them and suddenly they stopped and dropped. Some of my relations lived in Coventry I remember seeing it ablaze from miles away.

I certainly hope you will get more information. And just as an aside: The V1 wasn't actually a rocket, but was jet-propelled. The later V2 was a rocket...
