i have kept my vinyl but given away the 8 tracks and my sis was kind enough to throw away or give away my 45s

there is something special about selecting a record.removing it from the
jacket. Carefully wiping the dust or a finger mark with that cloth and stting it to play. why the misic lasts just as long as a relaxing drink.

Perfectly understandable. And you're right . . . some people may be collecting 8-tracks, but I doubt very much if they're still able to play them. From what I understand, there is actually some company somewhere that is trying to redistribute vinyl records, and I don't mean rereleases. Brand new music, burned onto vinyls! I guess people missed them enough to spur a new industry . . .
