It's always quite a change coming from the mild temperatures, soft light and moist air of a maritime climate to a place of harsher contrasts like Colorado! I experience that to some degree when travelling between here and Nova Scotia, although the contrast is not as pronounced, because the Great Lakes have some maritime chracteristics...

I truly enjoyed my visit when I was in Colorado. The air is cleaner and very refreshing

Funny how nature does its thing whether we're paying attention
or not. Colorado is a spectacular place - and snow in June in higher elevations can wake you up, especially when you crawl out of your tent at the campground at first light...

After the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, and the long, harsh winter, there were areas around us here on the East Coast that looked as though they would never recover. But lo and behold, Mother Nature is doing Her thing, and suddenly our trees, flowers and bushes are back in full bloom! And it looks sooooo much better . . .

your place except for the temperature extremes, reads like a little
