really enjoyed this post
we need to feel that connection to others, it's healthy, and yes to even the birds, bees and trees.

Mitochondrial Eve is a subject that has always interested Richard, my Phoenix friend, and he quite often shares with me his latest findings. Sometimes he shares the same things several times forgetting that he already has done so.

I remember talking about this in science class back in sixth grade...It is neat reading an entry and having it come back to memories...I did not know that we still had some Neanderthal genes in us.

Delightful!
Biologiy and genetics are something I spend entirely too much time pondering - to me, the most interesting of the sciences!
And Pat's comment will have me giggling for days

Most interesting post, and for me, it summarizes much that I myself have
been reading with a hunger lately. I am always hungry where historical fact is involved, research is brought forward, theories questioned, new truth uncovered.

I read that post. I found the last sentence to be self indulgent. It suggested that anyone who did not agree with her was an idealistic idiot. I firmly disagree. I do not try to tell others they are ignorant because they assume to be so brilliant or just because they do not agree with me. That falls short of reality.

Which means, imho, that all wars are a form of sibling rivalry
and even more unconcionable than if we were all totally unrelated.
