But it wasn't always that way,

was it JPT? It seems to me that this has been happening lately more and more. I thought people could get fired for less than that, once upon a time.

Thank you, dear Justi

I will know soon. That lackadaisy secretary finally did the followup and my most important appointment is in a month's time.

Thanks, Mia

LOL - I have a trunk full of slippers here, in all sizes, for guests too. Yep, sunshine can do wonders.

LOL - it's self defense, Nautikos.

I've started wearing them mostly since owning pits. They get excited, don't pay attention where they are going, and step on my feet at least once a day...each!

I can and do believe it - I feel the same way

when I hear a friend is not well, Kabu. Caught that Kabu smile; it was nice and warm and cheerful!

LOL - I have an ongoing fight with my slippers, Rumor.

Wood floors here, and they slip and slide, and trip me up! But are so comfy once I have them where they are supposed to be.

A pillow stuffed with smiles!! What a nice idea, CCT!

Take a good look at Adnohr and you'll discover why I use that name.

I believe you are right there, BC-A

It was better in the 50's and 60's. Or maybe we feel that way just because we were not the ones having to be responsable for what was happening then, being kiddies...

They are, Pat - and the limbo never really was a dance, was it?

Very good news. Slipper in the way can be a problem. Incompetence is every where. Protect self is mandatory with the way clerical staff and assistants have issues.

Good News Dear me

I am so happy you are feeling better. I shall pray for good, very good findings from the new tests.

i'm like Naut, always barefoot in the house. I have a pair of slippers, I think - a Christmas present from years past that I wore once and promptly forgot about until now!

So glad to hear you feeling good and enjoying some inner sunshine - it's the best kind!!

It's not often that slipping on one's slippers is a sign of returning health, LOL! I would have thought that it's a lethal threat to one's well-being...I avoid that danger by not wearing them in the first place and obstinately remaining barefoot...

your news has put my mind to rest, you cannot believe.

I was thinking, I can't stand this...well of course we can stand what we have to but knowing your tests were clear has created a huge Kabu smile back to you.

adnohr...

I have to watch out for my slippers, too...  I have them placed on the carpet on my side of they bed so when I sit up, I can slide my feet right in...well, once in awhile they get knocked out of position and I end up with my feet half in and half out...at least now I can bend enough to finish getting them on (which there's no way I could have done when I first came home from the hospital)....

You are always falling over Adnohr, but never mind if you feel better. Why do you call yourself Adnohr?  I am just curious and obviously don't know what to say. Well Doctors I have found that young females are the most efficient. Old fogies are a pain and they all deteriorate after a while. Old females are the worst. I had a little bump on my head I asked if it could be removed .' That's nothing to worry about,' she said.  'you wouldn't like it on your head.' I replied. I wonder why she kicked me off her list although I gave her a bunch of pinks once, but they were really  for someone else.Keep smiling if I get enough I will stuff a pillow.
