pat

sometimes i am afraid to go back to read some of the things i have written, and some comments, but i have found my blogit friends very forgiving.  there is a fine balance between being upbeat and then just telling it as it is. , but it sounds as if the mood improved.

it must have been maybe 15 years ago i was driving through ok city to get home to kansas and another f5 tornadoe had gone through, crossed the highway, and all you could see on both sides for at least a mile was leveled homes and businesses. and now again.  having grown up in kansas most of the old homes have basements, alot of the newer homes are built on slabs and there is nowhere to go except the bathtub, but even those are gone on slab homes.  we did not have a basement but our neighbors did and we would run for their basements.

A party now that would be fun....I must be alone in my upbeat mood.

I am so happy to be home and with Wiley and back on Blogit. Sometimes a good winge about family does one good to write out and then delete. I do it myself on occassion, well quite often really and then reading it I can see it was a pity party and feel better for laughing at myself.

I like the name of the squirrel...:)

I know Sister Nature always carries the potential to be a cruel sibling; seems she is off to a good (horrific) start this year...

Re: Nautikos, and Benny spinning like a dervish...

Poor little guy. I know exactly how he feels because fireworks freak me out, too.

Pat

Here in Canada we had a long weekend, ususally a cheerful occasion, but I for one couldn't free my mind of the terrible devastation and the many deaths in Oklahoma...That Benny is driven to insane barking and spinning like a dervish in his fury over firewoks doesn't help either...

Yes sort of getting rid of the nasties Pat. I sometimes write something sarcastic and then change it for something complimentary, but don't tell anyone.

Is it the time of the year? The constant disturbing news we're hearing? Too much time to think? Many of us seem to be down in the dumps, bothered by one thing or another, or many. Maybe we need a damned good party, with some wild antics, a long bunny hop line, but probably we better forget the limbo.....
