I really hate to sound callous or blasphemous but, I don't think any amount of praying is going to stop these storms. They are now a part of our natural make-up, and people had better get used to their presence. Unfortunately, there will be more . . .

We live in the path of the storms, but our mountains protect us so mostly it just rains here. We just had 4 days of rain...Whenever it rains here I pray for those east of me.
