A very strange story! I have absolutely no way of making sense of it, but I'm certainly glad it ended well...

I'm perplexed as well, but initially, I thought you may have actually been struck by lightning! It doesn't always kill, and affects people differently! As far as the behavior of the people at the hospital, and the lack of results given to you, I'd say you were far more luckier than you could imagine . . .

That is something else: as if some big angel hurled a lightning bolt from the tree to heal you, and let your illness pass into the tree. God works in Sci Fi all the time in my experience.  I can't imagine what may have gone wrong with you.

Re: cc

smiling at your first comment, my granny use to say poor jeanie.  i have only had one migraine in my life, when i was young, but this did not feel like one.  and i dont know about a religious experience because i am not religious.  but i do believe i had an experience of some sort, maybe just an experience of my mind. i always try to find a logical explanation for everything first, i cant find one for this.  thank you for the nice compliment, but dont assume.

Re: fsi

not a very good recommendation for that hospital, huh.  i did get a bill but it was covered so i didnt pay much attention to it.  what i ended up paying was mostly for the ambulance ride....but they were so good and professional that i didnt mind.

Re: what a strange story and what strange behaviour by your husband

kabu i assumed (we know what that means) that if they had found something wrong with me after all the testing they would have notified me.  i never heard of someone being forgotten in the hospital before, so i chalked it up to an experience that was meant to teach me something.  funny i never noticed before that the tree was dying. i thought i had figured out my lesson, but maybe there is another.

You poor thing, I am trying to think what happened to you. Earthly wise I think you may have had a terrifically strong migraine. Some ladies on recovering might not have been so lenient. Of course if you want the other version it was a religious experience. I had one like that once, but I sliced it down into reality. Sorry for being so mundane. I am sure you are very nice.

I wonder why that happened at the hospital...A very interesting event you told us about.

what a strange story and what strange behaviour by your husband

and the hospital. As you write, sort of like you were being cared for by your God and human help wasn't necessary. Of course the old nurse in me would love to know what had happened. Perhaps some poison grass or something that you had a weird allergy to set off the illness. now get well soon from today's illness darlin'.
