they never tell unless they want you to make a decision to take it quickly....some actually save you the time and tell you that its taken....that was rude of them to waste both of your time like that!

Yeah, sounds kinda fishy to me, to have rented it that quickly! There's a chance that she may have already had someone else lined up, but simply neglected to tell you. If that was the case, then it would be both frustrating and rude . . .
