Balance is the key. Empathy is better way. Avoiding taking on the problems of others can be difficult for caring people. I get myself in trouble at times for doing tbat with family and friends. Great news about your books.

how lovely that things are calm your way and I do wish that you could be
more like me...a burned out old Aries....too tired of it all to get worked up.All I can do is send out hugs and my love.

I have wished to turn a blind eye to all the suffering in the world as well, but for the same reason as you do not...Hopefully the world will get better.

And to you too. Yeah, a certain degree of balance would be nice when it comes to dealing with all of the angst around us, but sometimes . . . just sometimes . . . putting up certain walls can help to keep your own psyche in check! I know ignoring something won't make it go away, but dwelling on it probably doesn't help either! It is indeed a fine line . . .
