How frightening for the father who thought it would be okay for a few seconds but then it turns devastating! When I was at my daughter's salon today a man came in for a hair cut and he had been at the hospital with his wife since January! He said it felt like he had been in prison but it was worth it to be by his bride of 54 years! I suspect either one will fall through the cracks as it were when either one passes first! sam

There was a crack filled up north here, or down south there yesterday where a guy did hijack a lady's car with a baby in it. Another lady in her car went after the hijacker and rammed into him whereupon the hijacker took off running and our heroine saved that baby.

Pat...
"falling through the cracks" was a phrase heard quite often when I worked in insurance...a coverage that should have been in place wasn't (i.e. a camera floater) and a loss occurred that wasn't covered...usually it was an oversight on either the broker's part or the insured's..

Life's like that. Yeah, it is. Just watch the news.
Often, a crack is just a crack, until it becomes personal...and it will [become personal] sooner or later.

Among other things, all of life appears to be an ongoing crack-patching enterprise, that we engage in individually or collectively...
