All of the above are very true, and the one that jumps out at me is "What goes around, comes around"...dismissed from a particular job one day, the person responsible was dismissed himself within a week..

Turns out those 'disadvantages' ended up being blessings. From them I learned a lot about people and survival and appreciation. And since I've been writing seriously, the experiences have given me authentic knowledge that can build a story.

Well I learned mostly that the poor helped the poor Pat. However what you say is true. I just wonder today how folk would make out with the disadvantages that you encountered? As did a good many more.
