A very interesting history as it relates to Mother's Day. I imagine they would not be happy with how things are going today.

Although Mother's Day is still a very special and important event, I'm afraid that the initial work done by these women and their original rationale for doing so may have been somewhat of a losing proposition, being that we still wage bloody, costly, unnecssary wars! It would have been nice if their efforts and influences were properly rewarded, because we all would have benefitted from them! But sadly, such is not the case! Happy Mother's Day anyway . . .
