I don't think I would ever do that for soda! I would think one would not save all that much in the long run! sam

fsi,
years ago i am talking almost 50 , coke did make a syrup and we had a seltzer bottle, and i still have a collection of them. i kept coke syrup because the doctor told me it was good to give to a baby with an upset stomach. (now i wonder.) and all the different brands make the syrup because they use it at soda fountains. i know this because i worked at the corner gas station and got to work behind the scenes. so i guess all they will have to do is package in containers like milk.

I drink too much diet Coke anyway, I don't care what else comes out.

Some restaurants already use such a method. I very rarely drink soda, or even the flavored water they have out now. Too spoiled by my own well water.

I always thought Soda water sounded a bit harsh. Thinking of the packets of soda one used to wash clothes.

Believe it or not, I don't think it will have much of an impact at all. There are donut making machines for the home, but Dunkin' Donuts is still a thriving industry! You can make peanut butter at home too, but Skippy doesn't seem too worried about it! Wonder is still alive and well in spite of all the home bread makers out there, and I'm sure Anheuser Bush gets a chuckle over all the people trying to make beer in their homes! Besides, soda isn't good for you anyway . . .

óProgress it’s nothing. Mayor Bloomberg in New York wants to ban 32 ounce sodas. Now soda companies could just sell the syrup. And we’ll make our own soda at home. It’s a modern world
