Very good skill. Those who can DO, those who cannot teach was a saying that prevented a desire to teach. Later I learned not to take that saying literally. I was awarded teacher of the year. When I became an administrator many attempted to boomerang delegated tasks. You are on the right track.

A very important skill indeed. I learned how to delegate while my father was away on vacations.

That is a good system. Hopefully you don't unintentionally develop into the kind of person that eventually gets frustrated and then exclaims "Never mind! I'll do it myself!" Some people are like that . . .

why do we always find it so hard to delegate duties?  I learned the hard way that it is much better to involve everybody so they feel a part of the team then to try to do it all or most of it myself....kudos to you!
