what happened is so scary , i know it has happened to me

so glad that it was not worse, he is such a beautiful dog, alot like my lucy only black and white and ears not so large.  we do love our animals and why not they love us back unconditionally.

A rather strange day for you both Naut. Poor old Ben didn't think the world was like that.

A pity the other dog was not wearing a muzzle, perhaps it will in future. I hope the reason for the attack was to defend the children. Anyway I hope Ben gets over this trauma and feels good again.

How horrible for Bennie and you and I'm glad the owner took full responsibility. He's a great look'n dog, My Meeka.. yeah she always follows me off to bed. But  with what happened to her recently I haven't been climbing the stairs to go off to bed. I'm sleeping in the living room to be near her.

what started as a horrific incident ended better than you thought....glad he is ok and back with you and that the owner is taking responsibility for the bills and ensuring the nanny won't be walking him again

WOW! I am glad that his bills will be covered but what a horrible encounter! It made me cringe reading it I can't imagine how awful it was to see it! Here's to a quick recovery! sam

That didn't sound fair! Poor Ben. I hope he is recoverying well. Yeah, I've seen that scenario before . . . a tiny, small-framed woman trying to walk a dog that could make her its bitch! I'm glad the owner took full responsibility, and maybe next time she'll find someone a bit stronger to walk her dog . . .

Oh, I'm afraid I'd be upset over that incident for a week or so.

But I'm glad Ben is being wise and seeking emotional support as he recovers...

btw, a "Maxine" hat is one of those floppy brim gardening hats that Maxine - the crabby old lady of cartoon fame - wears. I have one, plus the sunglasses and frizzy hair to complete the look.

I am glad to read that Ben is okay after all that...Often on The Trail I go onto, I am mentally shaking my head at people who are walking dogs who are too big for them. With those people, incidents are bound to happen...I hope the owner follows through and does not have the nanny walk her dog again.

Wow, I wonder what was in that Lab's wheaties?

They are usually such good-natured dogs!  Maybe a vet should check that one out, too.  I'm glad Ben has you for a protector and defender.
